| What is a "talent pool?" |
A talent pool is a group of teams whose players you can use on your fantasy team. Because there are over 100 teams in Division I-A football with up to 85 scholarships each, many leagues like to narrow down the amount of available players in their league.
We suggest using a 4:1 ratio of schools to fantasy teams. For example, if your league is setup with 8 fantasy teams, we suggest that you use roughly 32 schools to make up your talent pool. This ratio will allow all teams to field a competitive team, while limiting the amount of superstar free agents. Of course you can choose as many schools as you want to be in your talent pool, up to all FBS (DI-A) schools.

| How do I invite others to join my league? |
Click on "Invite new teams" on the "Team/Registration Status". This will send an e-mail to your friends with your message and the registration instructions.
When registering your league you will also have the opportunity to provide the e-mail addresses of those you wish to invite to your league automatically.
| Will my running back get credit if he throws a touchdown pass? |
Yes. Any offensive player will get credit for any type of offensive statistic. A running back who throws a touchdown pass on a trick play will get credit for a passing touchdown.
If your league chooses to use "strict" enforcement of dual-position players, stats will only be credited based on the player's position in the fantasy team's lineup. (This only applies to the very small percentage of players categorized as multi-positional.) |
| How do I report a scoring discrepancy? |
If you find a scoring error, simply send us an e-mail with the the source of information that you found.
Score discrepancies, instances where two different major news sources report different information, should be handled through your league commissioner who can override scores if needed.
Scoring errors need to be reported by the next Wednesday. |
| What is a "Flex" lineup position? |
When configuring your league's lineup options, you have the choice to select how many QB's, RB's, WR's, Tight Ends, Kickers, Defenses, and Head Coaches you want on each team's lineup.
You can also select a number of "Flex" positions. These positions allow the teams in your league the flexibility of using a different amount of players at each position each week.
For example if your league was setup to have 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 Flex RB/WR/TE on each lineup, teams would need to start at least 2 RBs and 2 WRs, and could then use their best player amongst all RBs, WRs, and TEs on their team.
Flex positions can be "QB/RB/WR/TE", "RB/WR/TE", "WR/RB", or "WR/TE". |
| When are lineups due? |
Every team can make changes to their lineup throughout the weekend. However, the team will not be allowed to add or remove players on schools that have already begun playing. |
| What is the difference between a live, automated or upload draft? |
The live draft is scheduled by the league commissioner and conducted online. Each team has a set time per pick (also set by the league commissioner) and inbetween picks can chat with other team owners, view the draft results, and set their draft queue.
The automated draft lets each team owner rank players by position and determine which position should be drafted in each round. On Draft Day each fantasy team is assigned players using the draft selections and a randomly generated draft order. There are three types of draft order options that your league can use: fixed, reversed every round (snake), or re-random for each round.
The upload draft is an option for leagues that wish to run their own controlled draft. The league commissioner, or each team individually, can import their draft results. After all draft selections have been entered, the league commissioner can process the draft results online. |
| What happens if a team cannot attend a live draft, or has to leave early? |
A team will be assigned players for each pick based on the fantasy team's pre-ranking of players. The initial list of players is ranked according to last year's performance and can be edited at any point before the draft by each fantasy team.
The league commissioner can determine how many picks can be missed before a team is automatically set to auto-draft. |
| Can we holdover players who were on our team last year? |
Premium League Commissioners can select holdovers (keepers) for leagues using a live or automated draft.
If your league is using a manual draft simply include the players you wish to select in the results. How you select the players is up to your league. |
| How do we make changes after our draft has started? |
Once the draft starts, your league commissioner can still make changes to your draft settings.
The following changes can be made throughout the draft after pausing the draft:
- Changing the draft clock (0 = unlimited time to pick)
- Editing draft selections, trading picks, making a selection for another team, etc.
All other changes, including changing draft order, number of rounds, position requirements, etc. or just starting
over requires that the current draft be cancelled.
Your league commissioner can cancel and reschedule an ongoing draft in the "Draft"
section of "League / League Options". After the draft is cancelled, your commissioner can make any change
to your draft settings and then reschedule the draft for as early as 20 minutes from the time the league settings are
finalized.
Cancelling a draft requires that all teams logout and then login to ensure they get the latest settings, and
obviously all picks from the original draft are ignored.
| Can we pause a live draft? |
Yes, your league commissioner can pause an ongoing draft at anytime. He can schedule a pause after a particular pick, or manually
pause and resume the draft at anytime. When the draft resumes from a pause, the draft clock restarts for the current selection.
| How do I draft a player that is not listed? |
We can add players by request before a draft. If it is during the draft, we recommend selecting another player as a placeholder
after communicating to your league that the player will be substituted with the new player after your draft. Then send us
an e-mail with your new player request. |
| Which teams make the playoffs? |
Your league commissioner can set both the playoff type and the order of tie-breakers used for ordering your league's standings. These options will be displayed on your league's settings. |
| How can I change the customizable settings for my league? |
The league commissioner can update any of the customizable settings of the league online up until the fantasy draft.
The customizable settings include:
- Talent Pool
- Scoring Weights
- Rule Preferences
- Draft Options
- Roster Limits
- Lineup Structure
- Division Names
- Division Assignments
- Transferring the League Commissioner role
- Changing the size of your league
- etc.
| What is a "League Commissioner?" |
One fantasy team in each fantasy league is considered the league commissioner. The league commissioner title is assigned to the first fantasy team that signs up in the league.
Your league's commissioner is identified at the top of the "League Options" page.
The current league commissioner can transfer the role of league commissioner
to any other team in the league.
| What can the "League Commissioner" do? |
- Select League Options
- Select League Rules
- Process an Offline Draft (for leagues electing an offline draft)
- Override fantasy scores
- Change Division assignments
- And more
- Approve/Deny Transaction Waivers (optional premium feature)
- Edit the weekly fantasy schedule (premium feature)
- Make roster transactions on behalf of other teams (premium feature)

| What are Transaction Waivers? |
Premium league commissioners can elect to use transaction waivers to control player transactions within the league.
If your league uses waivers, all player pickups, trades, and position switches have to be approved by the league commissioner before they take effect.
If your league elects to use an automated waiver sysstem, waiver requests are processed automatically once a week per your league settings. |
