Scoring Weights
Scoring weights are determined by each league. The league commissioner can update the scoring weights up until the leagues draft. The following scoring weights are the
suggested defaults.
Note: The listed position of a player does not affect the type of points they can score, except for Defense/Special Teams points. Negative yardage counts as no yardage.

Scoring Bonuses/Thresholds
Premium leagues can incorporate scoring bonuses or thresholds
for their fantasy players. For example you could decide that if a player runs for more than 150 yards in a game, he earns
a bonus of 3 fantasy points, or maybe 10 receptions earns 5 fantasy points, etc.
You could also use this feature
to replace the "per stat" scoring weights and make fantasy scores based on thresholds. For example,
if you want to award 1 point for every 10 receiving yards, but not 0.1 fantasy points per yard, you could
set the scoring weight of receiving yards equal to 0 and add a 1 point bonus for every 10 yards. In that scenario
a receiver would earn 7 points for 78 yards receiving as opposed to the standard 7.8 points.
Scoring bonuses can be combined with scoring weights and you can have multiple scoring bonuses
set up for the same stat category giving your league tremendous flexibility for fantasy scoring.
Scoring bonuses can also be setup for the length of touchdown plays. For
example, a 5 point bonus for a 50+ yard touchdown, etc.
Each player's score is calculated separately and then the total points are added up to arrive at a fantasy team's score.
Head Coach Fantasy Points
Premium leagues can elect to use head coaches as a position. We suggest the following scoring weights:
- Wins: 10pts
- Losses: -5pts
- Road Wins: 5pts
- Home Losses: -5pts
- Upset Wins: 10pts
- Upset Losses: -10pts
"Upset" wins and losses are based on the team's rankings in that week's AP poll. All schools receiving votes in the AP poll will have a ranking including those who fall
outside of the Top 25. All schools who do not receive any votes will be considered equal to one ranking lower than the lowest ranked team. Games played on Sunday and Monday after
an updated poll has been published will continue to use their ranking for the game week they played - which at that time would be the next most recent poll.
Upset wins and losses do not apply to professional teams.
Neutral field games will not count as road games or home games for either team.
Common alternate home fields, such as Arkansas playing in Little Rock, are not considered neutral fields.
Scoring Eligibility
Offensive players can accumulate points for any offensive statistic. For example a quarterback can earn points for receiving a touchdown pass if he catches a pass in a trick play, or a kicker can earn a rushing touchdown if he runs in a botched snap.
Points that are acquired on Defense or Special Teams will only be awarded to both the individual and the Defense/Special Teams position.
Leagues can set the scoring weights of Defense/Special Teams TDs as well as individual special teams TDs separately.
Ties
Fantasy games that end in a tie will be subject to the following tie-breakers:
- Total touchdowns scored by each fantasy team
- Total yards gained by each fantasy team
Scoring Discrepancies
If you find a scoring error, simply send us an
e-mail with the the source of
information that you found.
Score discrepancies, instances where two
different major news sources report different information, should be handled
through your league commissioner who can make stat adjustments and override scores if needed.
Scoring errors need to be reported by the next Wednesday.
If an error correction causes a fantasy game to reverse, we will notify the league.
